It's a Girl!

And they say she looks like Jack!

If you follow my wife's blog, you might think it's our soon-to-be-born-and-adopted girl.  However, Henry Mayo, my new nameless niece was born.  She missed sharing a May 9th birthday with her mommy by just 71 minutes.  Elisha and I have been on Jack duty at Fort Hogan, and the three of us are eager to meet her.

Dear Mr. Larsen,

I have read your books, "In the Company of Preachers", "The Spurgeon Conspiracy" and "The Augustine Abduction". I loved all three. "The Company of Preachers" is a book I refer to very often. It is my standard book on biography. Are you considering any more mysteries like the Spurgeon/Anderson and Augustine? I would love to see one with Arthur Pink (the curmudgeon)as the focus. I could see Pink involved in many troubles due to his stands. Another mystery could be Jack Lewis and Tolkien as a Holmes/Watson type respectively. I imagine the Lewis wd be difficult because Hooper wd need his hands in it but it wd be an interesting story nonetheless. I have often wondered and hoped for more mysteries from you and I have now found your blog and saw it as the vehicle to question you.

Sincerely,

Brian K. Loder
